Sophie is an outdoor girl for sure! I know we will be spending the majority of our spring days outside. She stands at the front door saying…”outside”. (Of course in baby language) She cries and puts up a tantrum when we bring her inside to change her or feed her. What bad parents we are!
This is what happens when we have yogurt for lunch. We wear it instead of eating it. Some days I think it would be easier to give them lunch in the bathtub. At least we get some good photos!
Eli and Sophie have been spending a lot of time together these last few weeks. Between our house and Aunt Laura’s they spend four days out of the week with each other while Laura and I work part time. They play well with each other. Eli can make Sophie laugh pretty good. Especially when eating lunch or chasing each other. If Sophie wakes up at night she asks about Eli. I tell her he’s sleeping like you should be! It’s cute and a blessing to have a great cousin for Sophie.
The smaller high chair ( the one Sophie’s in ) is a big deal. We have to take turns sitting in it. Sophie usually gets more turns because Eli doesn’t care as long as he gets to eat. Oh the little things in life that make a child feel like a big kid!
Walking around outside is at Sophie’s top of the list these days. She can walk on her own but she doesn’t like to yet. She always has to have a finger or hand. This summer she will be off on her own for sure. That is were a fence will be on moms wish list! Oh the days of putting a baby on the blanket and knowing they would be there when you came back 30 seconds later. Oh well! Every stage has it’s pros and cons. We are definitely looking forward to the summer fun with water and evening walks!
